Meet our team

Sharon Oliphant-King
Sharon has been in the hearing industry for over 20 years, growing up with her father who is also an Audiometrist, as well as her sister Helen who has a practice in Canberra.
Sharon had worked for multi national companies in the past, however, felt that these big companies did not provide the service her clients required. She felt a more personalised approach and great customer service was of high importance, and so Sharon and her husband Allan set out to provide a service where all staff were trained in care and maintenance of hearing aids, so they can support their customers at any time. Sharon also wanted to be able to provide services other than just hearing aids, so she trained in ear vacuuming and syringing.
Being able to service, adjust and fit any brand of hearing aid means the business is able to help clients with all varieties of hearing aids and is not limited by brand. Sharon also has an interest in Bone Anchored hearing aids and is trained in fitting and adjusting these devices.
In her spare time, Sharon is a keen gardener and loves to spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Jacqui Bradbery
Jacqui has been part of Sharon King Hearing Centres since 2020, beginning as a receptionist while completing her Diploma of Audiometry.
As Sharon’s daughter, she is proud to continue her mother’s legacy and prepare for the future leadership of the family business.
Before moving into hearing healthcare, Jacqui spent more than a decade in childcare, including as a 2IC. This experience strengthened her ability to listen deeply, remain calm under pressure, and lead with patience and empathy - qualities that now shape the way she supports both clients and her team.
Known for her attention to detail and steady, supportive approach, Jacqui creates an environment where clients feel comfortable and cared for, and where her team feels valued and empowered. She believes in celebrating small successes, encouraging collaboration, and ensuring that no one ever feels rushed or unheard.
At Sharon King Hearing Centres, Jacqui lives out the clinic’s values every day:
- Teamwork – We’ve got each other’s back, collaborating effectively and valuing every role.
- Fun – We laugh hard, work hard, and get it done.
- Client-Focused Solutions – We seek to understand before we prescribe.
- Patience & Understanding – We take time to listen.
- Supportive – We notice, we care, we act.
Guided by these principles, Jacqui thrives on seeing clients rediscover the joy of hearing and on fostering a positive, collaborative workplace. With no sales targets or commissions, Sharon King Hearing Centres remains dedicated to true client-focused care. By combining the latest tools—including AI-supported hearing care—with warmth, empathy, and consistency, Jacqui ensures every client feels valued and supported throughout their hearing journey.

Phoebe Lye
Phoebe began her journey in the hearing industry with work experience at Sharon King Hearing Centres in 2016. This experience sparked her passion for helping those with hearing loss.
Her favorite part of the job having clients comment on hearing all the things they have been missing out on. Clients often comment that they can now hear sounds like the tweet of a bird in the backyard, or being able to have a conversation again with loved ones.
As a fully qualified Audiometrist, Phoebe holds a Diploma of Hearing Device Prescription and Evaluation, a Statement of Attainment in Aural (Ear) Health, and a current First Aid Certificate. She currently visits our Gunnedah and Walcha Sites.
